A one-on-one breathwork session offers a safe space to release any stuck emotions or energy from the body.
You will be completely guided through the session whether this is in person or an online session.
I will start with an explanation of the process and what you may feel during the session. Everyone can have a different experience.
You will start by setting an intention to yourself. Maybe it’s that you want clarity on a certain situation in your life or you just want to allow yourself to heal.
We will then start with 15-20 minutes of a controlled breathing technique. This will be the hardest part but the most important.
Next, we will move into more of a heart felt technique where you can slow down and allow any feelings and thoughts to come through. There will be a guided meditation as well as we complete the practice.
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a technique of using your own breath to help release stuck emotions and negative energy from the body that is no longer serving you. This can also allow some deep healing to take place. Breathwork practitioners will focus on the power of the breath to help promote mental, physical, emotional and even spiritual harmony.
Breathwork can be described as an active meditation. It can help reframe the nervous system's response to traumas trapped in the body. Trauma is not what happened to us but what happened to the body as a result of the trauma.
